Power options / filters

VLT Advanced Active Filter AAF 006 from the factory optimized for the most mundane applications. The unit cannot be self-tuning and overloaded. If measured correctly, the filter reduces the current harmonious distortion of a system to less than 5%.

VLT Advanced Harmonic Filters AHF 005 and AHF 010 are advanced harmonic filters that are not comparable to traditional harmonic trap filters. Danfoss harmonic filters are specially designed to match Danfoss frequency converters.

The du / dt filter is a differential-mode low-pass filter that abbreviates the motor terminal phase-to-phase peak voltage and minimizes the magnification time to a caliber that abbreviates the pressure on the insulators in the motor windings. This is especially a problem with small motor cables.
