The Mitsubishi Analog Input Output Module FX2N-16EX is available in 8 or 16 input or output point sizes. They are connected directly to the right end of the base unit or expansion unit (see Digital Expansion Unit below) which also supplies them with power. FX2N-16EX model PLC input blocks are opt-isolated, 24Vdc sink or source select-able suitable for NPN or PNP sensors, and output blocks are available with relay or transistor outputs.
